Attire | Expect Great Things

(F21 Cardigan, Express Studded Blazer, F21 Pencil Skirt, Layered Charlotte Russe Tights, Dexter Pumps)

"Expect nothing and be pleasantly surprised." It's such a simple rule to hear yet so difficult to follow. How do we manage our expectations? Why do we expect anything at all? I probably dwell on questions like these too often. And being in the presence of something as grand as a castle certainly doesn't help one bit.

Two days ago I visited two castles. They were stunning. It's difficult to describe whatever I was feeling. I guess it'll suffice to say it was indescribable and perhaps you can relate in some other context.

A full photo diary is to come in the next few days.

  2. Thank you for your comment you're totally right. The reason I'm so strict with myself when it comes to blogging is because I tend to stick to something for a while, and then quit, but I definitely do not want to quit blogging. Great photos by the way! Castles are amazing.

  8. that's a good quote! I would like to follow that piece of advice. I try to expect more from myself and less from others, I find that easier to manage. On a lighter note, nice preppy outfit, the lacy tights are very pretty. I love castles too although I have yet to visit one. But they are beautiful architecture with an amazing history.
