It's taken me forever to compile all the new things from these past few months; I actually don't think I got everything photographed but these are the things I remembered. Just so you know, I'm still a broke college student; a lot of these I purchased with vouchers I won or received as gifts. Only a few were paid for by yours truly.
After falling in love with the cage dress from this post, I was ecstatic to find this one! This Jack BB Dakota Dress is perfect; I'm obsessed with the back. I was wearing it all last night without anywhere to go! If only it wasn't winter... (Purchased from PLNDR.com)

Leeroy, the Twilight Turtle, has been helping Mariah and I get to sleep at night. We love you, buddy!
New fish eye camera from When I'm Not Naked. Thank you Jaquelin!
Bought this book from Barnes and Noble a few weeks ago; I love reading little books like these.
New ring from Romwe! If it looks funny it's because it's actually supposed to look like this. Connor broke a hinge while messing around with it so I resolved to keep half of it; it's okay though -- he's ordered another one. And I got him for Secret Santa so we're just about even, I think.
New cropped sweater from PLNDR.com I love how warm it is; perfect for winter.
Another new sweater (a bit more festive) from Romwe. My mom says I don't wear enough red so this is for her.
Lovely Gorjana Gold Infinity Necklace I received from From Jasmine With Love. Thank you!
And, finally, wearing my new Anjolee Earrings here with Steve!
And now for some thoughts for you bloggers: Try to relax! Enjoy the holidays and don't try to document every second! Watching Louis CK's new special helped me realize we're always so busy "documenting" our oh-so amazing lives, we often forget to just live. So, if you can, for me, just live and enjoy this season.
There's plenty of other time to obsess over the latest shoes, designers, bloggers etc. Happy Holidays!
Yasmeen

Love the cage dress! Have a lovely holiday :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad the camera arrived safe and sound! Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful collection of newbies! My favorite is the red Romwe sweater, the lattice back dress and the Gorjana necklace. Can't wait to see how you'll style them!
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous items you got! :) The cage dress is GORGEOUS... I've been looking for the perfect one that isn't too on the revealing side, but it looks stunning on you! :) Love your fish eye camera as well! I always see them when I'm around Urban Outfitters but they are just so expensive that I can never imagine myself buying them!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank-you for the advice at the end! :) I admit I do want to document the holidays as much as I can, but then that DOES take away from the whole spending time with loved ones! Maybe I just need to tone it down a bit & learn to live in the moment! =)
You've got such a fab blog, followed you & hope to see more upcoming posts! =D
Great pictures; The caged dress is absolutely stunning! (:

ReplyDeletei agree with you, some people are so busy documenting they forget to live. i'm one of the people who brings a camera everywhere, it's true i always try to capture moments that are memorable. but i think i've been keeping it balanced, between actually living the moment and saving them for future treasures :)
