I can't believe the weekend is already over. Feels like I didn't accomplish much schoolwork. Yesterday, I had family visitors and last night I attended my first live sporting event! Red Bulls v. San Jose Earthquakes. I had a lot of fun although we didn't win and I certainly enjoyed the cult of thirteen year olds next to us...they kept trying to make us do the wave. Over. And Over. And Over.
Today was no less fun. If you follow me on Twitter, you know I was at a TEDx event all day! Some of the stories and ideas presented were just brilliant, others seemed like they needed development. In any case, it was great fun and I loved the energy; felt like I was sitting in a room with future leaders.
And, finally, the outfit here is a bit dry (and by that I mean dull...and by that I mean boring). But, I do love this new summer shirt. When I bought it I was holding about 12 other items and all returned to their racks. I love the lightness and softness; two qualities that will stand unmatched this summer.
