Outfit | Red Plaid

This is the first maxi dress I've purchased; I generally avoid them because I'm a nonexistent 5 feet 2 inches tall. Whenever I try on maxi dresses in-store I run around in the fitting room with fabric everywhere. I'm so happy no one ever has to see that. I'm just really short.

Incredibly, this one only drags on the floor a little with flats. I know I should probably consider just getting it tailored (logical conclusion) but I don't feel like paying. Also I'm lazy. Also I've never done it before and I'm resistant to change. That last one isn't true at all. Also I'm a liar.

Mo and I are going on a dopey outdoor movie date today. It's going to be so dumb and so great.

  4. Thanks so much for your comment on my blog dear! I so understand the being short and maxi dress thing, because I am 5 foot tall. But, I gave in and found that Yesstyle.com carries some great ones that actually fit me! You have to check out their site because with your style, I can see you wearing some of their clothing. I love your blog and love how you layered that shirt over the dress! It looks great! I'm your new follower now! Have a great weekend and hope you will follow me too! xx Pip

  5. I love the top with the dress. It totally changes the look! And, I know what you mean about the length. I am only 5'3 and have the same problem. I joke that some capris I try on are the perfect length for long pants on me!

  7. such a cute casual look! and thank you - yes we do, not because it has the best lighting (best lighting is between 2 and 6:30) but because of work and other things getting in the way :P
