Giveaway | Made by Mosaic Neckwarmer!

I've very excited to share a new giveaway with you all! This one is brought to you by Made by Mosaic, a social enterprise based in the township of Ikageng in Potchefstroom, South Africa. It was started in 2011 and currently employs more than 20 previously unemployed women, all of whom handcraft products ranging from knitted scarves to leather laptop bags with locally sourced materials.

Profits from Made by Mosaic support the work of the non-profit organization Mosaic Community Developments which is implementing a sustainable orphan care model. To create sustainability in the community, Made by Mosaic employees receive priceless skills that enable them to pursue higher-level employment in the future. New In | Bath & Body Works

I wasn't planning on buying anything during this year's semi-annual sale but my mom dragged me along to help her pick stuff so I ended up buying a couple things. Most of the scents at B&BW are too fruity or sweet but I really love Twilight Woods. It has a very musky, woodsy feel and it's not overwhelming. I picked up the Twilight Woods Fragrance Mist, Travel Size Fragrance Mist, and Creamy Body Wash. My mom got a bajillion Japanese Cherry Blossom Mists so she gave me one.

Outfit | Crash and Burn

This tie dye shirt arrived in the mail a few days ago from Crash and Burn and, of course, I threw it on right away. It's made of silk chiffon and it's incredibly soft. The print is really pretty and versatile too.

I'm pretty stubborn when it comes to shopping for basics and layering pieces which is why I really appreciate winning stuff I normally wouldn't invest in (but totally need with a fiery passion). Thank you to Crash and Burn for sending it over ~ your things are lovely! ♥

I realize I should probably tan a bit; I've gotten the "You look just like Wednesday Adams!" compliment for far too long. I just hate tanning...it feels like you're cooking yourself.

Outfit | Red Plaid

This is the first maxi dress I've purchased; I generally avoid them because I'm a nonexistent 5 feet 2 inches tall. Whenever I try on maxi dresses in-store I run around in the fitting room with fabric everywhere. I'm so happy no one ever has to see that. I'm just really short.

Incredibly, this one only drags on the floor a little with flats. I know I should probably consider just getting it tailored (logical conclusion) but I don't feel like paying. Also I'm lazy. Also I've never done it before and I'm resistant to change. That last one isn't true at all. Also I'm a liar.

Mo and I are going on a dopey outdoor movie date today. It's going to be so dumb and so great.

Outfit | By The Lake

It's been two years in this town and I still feel like I know nothing about it. Of course, it's probably my fault for taking measures to ensure I'm never around. I do like it here but it doesn't feel like home.

Anyway, this lake is at the heart of our town and it's so peaceful and quiet. Mo and I wandered around the fishing area a few days ago while some community carnival was going on.

Also, on an unrelated note, I don't know which of you are following me on Bloglovin but the growth in my follower count is kind of ridiculous. I don't really know how or why it's growing so fast. If anyone has experience with this issue/glitch, let me know.

Outfit | Vedette Shapewear (Part 2!)

For the second part of my collaboration with Vedette Shapewear I had to style Tatienne from their basic line for a day-to-night look. For the day look I threw on a cardigan, boat shoes and sunglasses for a more relaxed outfit. And, for my night look, I added a pair of heels and removed the cardigan. Pretty simple transition! Thank to the Vedette team for letting me have fun with this! ♥
